By Oct 27th the fall color will be displayed in all it’s beauty at the Domtar Cabin in Colonial Heights, TN. That is where we will be holding this year’s Commander’s Chili Cook-Off.
Festivities start at 6:00pm but the outside deck over looking the river will be a beautiful setting for our ” Social Hour” and you are welcome to come early. Since this is a Chili Cook-Off, we always need lots of it. We already have some veritable contenders so don’t miss out on entering your favorite chili concoction. We will all be voting for the favorite with the top 3 contenders earning valuable prizes. We get serious about our Chili!
All members are encouraged to attend and new members are very much encouraged to attend as this annual event as it is a great way to get introduced to current and other new members.
Food for the event is provided by the attendees so if you do not have a favorite Chili, you are asked to bring some side dish, desert, salad, cornbread, chili “fixins” (sour cream, cheese, other toppings) or something along those lines. Everyone pitches in to make this one of our favorite events. Please remember this is a BYOB event.
If you are wondering what to bring, have other questions or want to help AO Glenn with the event, contact Glenn at 423-422-7869 or email Glenn at firstname.lastname@example.org. We are all looking forward to seeing everyone there.

This is our annual Christmas Party. The Blackthorn Club and Sandra Matherly have been great hosts in the past, and we expect this year will be just as good.
This year, our Club will support Coalition for Kids with our gift giving initiative. All attendees are encouraged to bring a new toy or article of clothing for a boy or a girl age 6 to 10. as C4K organizes their christmas giving for over 200 kids. They appreciate your support.
